Exactly what is Photos on Video?

Each photo will appear on your TV screen for 5-6 seconds while your choice of music plays in the background. Your photos will dissolve from one to the next. In other words, as one-photo fades out, the next photo fades in.

What about even more spectacular transitions between the photos?

Photos on Video are also available in a special deluxe version. Each photo springs to life with a different eye-catching broadcast quality special effect, including page peels, flips, tumbles, spins and even puzzles pieces.

So how much does it cost?

The first 25 photos on video (set to the background music of your choice) are $125.00. Additional photos (after the first 25) are only $2.00 each. Photos on Video with deluxe special effect transitions are $150.00 for the first 25 photos plus $2.00 per photo over 25. For best results, a mixture of dissolves and special effect transitions are used. Animated and custom opening and closing titles are available for only $25.00 each. Additional copies of your video are also available for only $10.00 each.

How else can my video be personalized?

In addition to choosing your background music, we also offer both animated and custom opening and closing titles.

The words "A Video Album" write themselves out in sophisticated script lettering, one letter at a time, over an animated photo album, followed by the title of your program, for example, "John & Linda... Through the Years," "Little Bobby's First Year," or "Mom & Dad...The First 50 Years."

Our animated Cupid shoots his arrow into a photo album to introduce your "together photos."

Spectacular closing titles are also available. Our animated ending writes itself out in script letters, one at a time – saying, " It's not the end... It's only the beginning."

What about music for my video?

You may select your music from our music library list or provide your own on CD or cassette. One song is required for approximately each 25 photos. There is no additional charge for music when complete songs are selected. Partial songs, however, require editing and are $10.00 per song.

What size photos will work?

Any size photo will work; however, wallet size and smaller will not completely fill the screen and will have a black border. Also, please note that close-up photos will look better on your video.

Can I add titles within the body of my video?

Titles at $10.00 per screen may be superimposed over any photo or background to introduce the various sections of your video. Movie-style scrolling titles or credits may appear either at the beginning and end of your video, starting at $50.00.

Can I add my home video to this project?

Of course. Simply describe each video event that you would like to include, making sure to explain what's happening at the starting point and the ending point of each clip, and exactly where you would like each video clip to appear on your finished video: for example, after photo #55. Then cue up each of your videotapes to the first clip to be used from each video. Make sure to include the videos when bringing your photos to us.

What is the cost of each video clip?

Video clips are $10 each. There are no limits with regard to the total number of clips or the length of each clip. Each video edit, however, is regarded as one video clip. In other words, each video clip must have only one in-point and out-point.

How can I make my video stand out even more?

Simply select five photos from different time periods and we'll fly them on the screen simultaneously to create a one-of-a-kind opening or closing for your video. This broadcast television effect may be used immediately following the "Video Album" title or as a recap just before the ending title. At $50.00 this spectacular montage will definitely elevate your production into a class of its own.

After my video is completed can I get it on
DVD?

Yes. DVDs are available for $50.00 for the first DVD and $25.00 each thereafter.

How can I see samples of Artistic Video's Photos on Video?

You may make an appointment to come into our studio located just outside downtown near the Louisiana exit of the Southwest Freeway. That way you can see samples of the quality of the work we do. Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we can give you exact directions when you make your appointment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept personal or company checks, money orders, Master Card, Visa, or American Express. A 50% deposit is required upon signing and returning the contract. The balance is payable in full when you pick up your completed video.

What is the approximate turn-around time for my order?

Your order will be completed within ten working days after we receive all materials..

What if I need my video in less than ten working days?

In most cases we will be able to meet your deadline. There is, however a $100.00 rush charge with less than the required ten working days.

How can I place an order?

Simply fill out the Order Form as completely as possible and return it to us along with your photos, music, videos, script (if applicable) and payment to the following address:

What do I need to do next?

Gather all your photos and put them in the order that you want them to appear on your video. Number each photo on the back or attach a numbered Post-it note to each. Because ink may run, please use pencil only. Make an appointment to visit our studio.
